Solo (ANTARA) - Setelah pemain sayap Persipura Jayapura, Ian Kabes, mundur dari pemusatan latihan Pra Piala Dunia (PPD), saat ini striker Boaz Solossa meminta izin pulang sementara ke daerahnya di Papua menjelang pertandingan persahabatan tim nasional melawan Palestina.

"Boaz Solossa mengikuti jejak temannya satu klubnya, Ian Kabes, pulang meninggalkan pemusatan latihan timnas di Solo, Minggu (21/8) malam atau satu hari sebelum laga persahabatan melawan Palestina," kata Media Officer Timnas Indonesia, Desy Christina, di Solo, Senin.

Ia mengatakan, Boaz mendatangi kamar Pelatih Timnas, Wim Rijsbergen, dan mengutarakan permohonannya agar diizinkan pulang ke Papua karena urusan keluarga yang sangat mendesak ditambah kondisi istri yang sedang hamil besar.

Ia menjelaskan, Boaz sebetulnya ingin bertahan di timnas, tetapi karena alasan keluarga, dia terpaksa harus pulang ke daerahnya.

"Saya sebenarnya ingin bertahan, tetapi sama dengan Kabes, urusan keluarga sudah sangat mendesak. Karena itu, saya meminta agar diizinkan pulang," kata Boaz kepada manajemen timnas.

Pelatih Wim sendiri akhirnya mengizinkan Boaz untuk angkat koper dari Solo, Minggu (21/8) malam, setelah sang striker mengatakan bahwa ia akan kembali bergabung dengan timnas sebelum laga Indonesia versus Bahrain, pada 6 September 2011.

"Tidak bisa dipungkiri, kita memang akan kehilangan Boaz, Namun, saya percaya dengan materi pemain tersisa. Mereka semua memiliki kualitas masing-masing," kata Wim Rijsbergen.

Boas yang menempati posisi striker timnas yang sering berduet dengan Cristian Gonzales, batal memperkuat Indonesia di partai melawan Palestina, Yordania, dan laga penting melawan Iran.

Pelatih Rijsbergen akan membawa 23 pemain untuk menghadapi laga uji coba melawan Yordania pada 27 Agustus 2011 dan laga pembuka grup E PPD zona Asia melawan Iran, pada 2 September 2011.

Pemain sayap Timnas Senior Ian Kabes, pada Sabtu (20/8) siang, resmi meninggalkan pemusatan latihan timnas Pra Piala Dunia di Solo untuk kembali ke Papua.

Pemain yang memperkuat Tim Persipura Jayapura tersebut memang meminta secara pribadi kepada Pelatih Timnas Senior, Wim Rijsbergen, Jumat (19/8), untuk diizinkan pulang dengan alasan sama dengan Boaz, sehingga saat ini jumlah pemain timnas sebanyak 28 orang.

Lorenzo pun menyadari popularitasnya yang tinggi di Indonesia. Mungkin atas alasan itulah, pada Minggu (21/8), pembalap Yamaha itu menuliskan "Aku rindu Indonesia". Kontan, tweet ini di-retweet oleh ratusan followernya.

Ketika ada seorang follower yang menanyakan apakah Lorenzo juga kangen dengan Bali, pria Spanyol itu membalas lagi, "Ya, sangat! Saya sangat menikmati liburan terakhir saya di sana. Mengagumkan."

Lorenzo terakhir ke Bali pada awal tahun ini. Selain itu, Lorenzo juga mengunjungi Pulau Komodo di Nusa Tenggara. Dari sana, Lorenzo beberapa kali mengunggah foto kegiatannya.

Lantas, ada sebuah akun yang menyarankan agar Lorenzo tidak cuma mengunjungi Bali bila ke Indonesia, tetapi mencoba juga obyek wisata seperti Raja Ampat di Papua atau Derawan di Kalimantan.

Terlepas apakah tweet-tweet Lorenzo di atas adalah bagian dari public relations atau bukan, yang jelas popularitas Lorenzo cukup membantu dunia lebih mengenal Indonesia serta keindahan alamnya.

F1 minimal audience due to lack of promotion
